We’re BCS Interactive, a New Jersey-based digital impact agency that helps nonprofit, educational and socially responsible organizations make the world a better place. In the past year, our work has helped to:

And we’re on track to do so much more, so we’re going to need your help. We’re looking for a confident, diligent and passionate Digital PM to help steward our clients’ projects through to completion and deliver results. This is a full-time position (remote is ok!) and is open to anyone in the continental U.S. The right candidate will have the skills, experience and temperament to oversee projects in each of our two core service areas:

  1. Building – Websites, apps, and digital tools to help our clients grow their organizations and run their operations more efficiently and effectively
  2. Growing – Online marketing campaigns that help clients cut through the noise and increase awareness, understanding and donor interest

What’s a day in the life of a DPM look like?

The Digital Project Manager reports to the Senior Account & Project Manager. On any given day, you’ll oversee the completion of a large website build, coordinating designers, developers and content specialists with the client and their team. You’ll be teaching an Executive Director and her team how to run and analyze their own Facebook advertising campaign, and then you’ll be meeting with a client to review their website analytics and develop campaign concepts to grow their cause. We’re a small team, so you’ll have your hands in it all — and you’ll have plenty of support along the way. This is a great place for someone who has a voice, and wants to be heard.

Who Will Best Succeed at this Role?

There are three core qualities that define a successful DPM at BCS Interactive:

  1. Confidence – We look for people that are comfortable in their own skin, can present ideas to groups large and small, and when needed, stand up politely, but firmly, for their viewpoints
  2. Diligence – If you’re hyper-organized, take pride in your attention to detail and are a maestro of task completion, you’ll be a great fit.
  3. Eloquence – Writing and speaking are a big part of the job; accordingly the digital project manager excels at both

Requirements and Qualifications:

We’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of digital marketing and/or digital project management experience, either agency or client-side. Experience in the nonprofit, education or CSR sector is an added plus.

Skills required: The ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • The Google suite of tools
  • Adobe products (Photoshop in particular)
  • Email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or HubSpot

And a least a basic knowledge of:

  • WordPress CMS
  • Social media platforms, organic posting and paid promotion
  • PPC, Google search and display ads
  • SEO
  • Google Analytics

The following skills are not an initial requirement, but are a bonus:

  • Presentation software such as Keynote or Google slides
  • Understanding of basic HTML /CSS
  • Familiarity with the stages of building a new website, including: discovery, wireframe development, design, development and launch
  • Basic video editing/planning/scripting
