We're seeking a motivated and experienced Freelance Meta Ads Buyer. This role is focused on managing advertising campaigns exclusively on Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram) to drive client KPIs and Return on Ad Spend (RoAS).
The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, and has hands-on experience managing and optimizing Meta ad campaigns targeting B2C and B2B audiences, with a preference for candidates with education and nonprofit experience. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our clients' Meta advertising efforts, turning data-driven insights into actionable strategies that achieve business goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Plan, build, and launch paid media campaigns within Meta Ads Manager.
- Actively manage budgets and optimize campaigns in real-time to improve performance, utilizing strategies like A/B testing, audience segmentation, and creative analysis.
- Ensure proper campaign tracking is in place by implementing and managing the Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI).
Strategy & Analysis
- Develop comprehensive Meta advertising strategies tailored to specific client objectives.
- Analyze campaign performance using Meta Ads Manager reporting to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Create clear and concise performance reports and presentations for clients, translating campaign data into impactful business insights.
- Design and execute A/B testing plans for creative, copy, and audience targeting to continuously improve results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal creative, strategy, and account teams to ensure Meta campaigns are fully integrated with broader marketing plans.
- Provide performance insights to help inform content and creative development.
- Clearly communicate strategies, report on performance, and provide optimization recommendations to clients.
Core Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing client-facing advertising campaigns specifically within Meta Ads Manager.
- LinkedIn ad management experience is also a plus.
- Agency background is preferred.
- Experience managing small ad spend budgets ($2k - 10k/mo), making dollars stretch and demonstrating traction and value, even with low budgets
- Proven experience developing and executing A/B testing plans for Meta campaigns.
- Deep expertise in the Meta advertising platform, from strategy and setup to daily execution and analysis.
- Proficient in using Looker Studio, Excel/Google Sheets and Google Slides to present Meta strategies and campaign reports in a compelling, results-focused way.
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strong client campaigns.
About the Projects:
- Reporting to our senior account manager, you'll begin work with by taking over two existing campaigns; we'll provide everything you need to get started, including a comprehensive review of the client and their programs to-date.
- Pay is is $35-$75 depending upon skills and experience.
- The right individual will be offered additional campaigns based upon performance and overall chemistry with us.
- Our typical campaign cycle is about 6 months, though some projects run on a continual basis, where we provide monthly optimization and support.
