Average Project Management Hours Per Week: 5-7; probably heavier towards the end of the project cycle

This is a client-facing position, and you’ll need to be available weekdays during the hours of 9AM EST - 6PM EST for potential client/internal team Zoom meetings

We’re BCS Interactive, a New Jersey-based digital agency that helps nonprofit, educational and socially-responsible organizations make the world a better place.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Digital Project Manager to oversee the planning, development and launch of an upcoming website redesign for a client in the healthcare philanthropy sector.

About the Project

 The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing each phase of the development cycle listed below, as well as managing the production team and ensuring that all parties stay on track

•  Discovery/Strategy/planning
• Story and content development (you’ll have our writer at your disposal)
• Sitemap and Wireframe development (which our lead designer will handle)
• Interface design (our designer)
• Coding/development, technology integrations and CMS build-out (Wordpress; all handled by our lead engineer)

Requirements and Qualifications:

This is a contract, remote position and is open to anyone in the continental U.S. You’ll be paid as a freelancer/1099. The Contract Digital Project Manager will report to the agency CEO.

We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of digital project management experience, either agency or client-side and specific to websites.

The ideal project manager will possess the following three qualities:

1. Experience – You’ve managed complex, high-level website projects - inclusive of all of the project needs and stages listed above
2. Diligence –You’re hyper-organized and a maestro of task completion; you have an ability to develop schedules and ensure that both client and team adhere to the plan
3. Confidence - You’re comfortable presenting to clients (via Zoom) and are able to politely, but firmly ensure that both team members and client are providing deliverables and approvals as needed to keep the project on track.

Skills required: The ideal candidate will have experience with:

• Wordpress
• The Google Suite
• Experience working with project management tools such as Asana, Teamwork or Basecamp
